Our guest accommodation comprises of two self-catering cottages.
The larger cottage will sleep six people, it has an open plan living and dining area with high ceiling and beams. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, gas cooker, microwave, toaster etc.
There is a an above ground solar heated splash pool (available June to September) for guests sole use.
On the first floor there is a bathroom and separate WC and three bedrooms. Two double rooms and a further bedroom with two single beds.
Our romantic little cottage is suitable for a couple, originally built in the 16th century but it has been lovingly restored to combine a high standard of modern comfort with traditional stonework and a dramatic fireplace which provides for a cosy winter fire and makes the cottage available all year round.
The mezzanine bedroom overlooks the open plan living area with lounge, dining room and a modern, well equipped kitchen.
Surrounded by open fields including an old cider orchard there are plenty of picnic areas where you can enjoy a meal, a beer or a bottle of wine in the sunshine.
Free Wi Fi, Flat Screen English TV, Free Sat HD Box, DVD player and a selection of DVDs are available to provide all the comforts of home away from home.
Secure parking and a well-equipped maintenance area for minor repairs - including Tyre pressures, oil, chain etc.
All bed linen and towels for inside the properties are provided.
Breakfast and evening meals are available but need to be pre-ordered.
If you would like a fridge full of supplies on your arrival, just email a shopping list. (There are no delivery charges just what is on the receipt)
Arrival times are from 16.00 and departure time is 10.00 although we will try to be flexible with this wherever possible.
Both properties are non-smoking environments, if you do need to smoke please do so outside and dispose of your cigarettes afterwards.
The pretty market town of Vire is a 5 minute ride away where you will find supermarkets, boulangerie, patisserie, bars and restaurants; you will also find a very well maintained municipal golf course and the stunning Lac Dathee.
The cottages are less than an hour from the coast and within easy reach of the D Day Landing Beaches, Military Cemeteries, Bayeux and Mont Saint Michel.
An ideal base with great roads from which to head out and explore the many attractions that Normandy has to offer.
