We would like to welcome you to La Maison de Papillon, our renovated Aveyronian farmhouse, now a Chambre d’Hote. We aim to provide our guests with a peaceful haven in which to relax and unwind away from the stresses of everyday life. Our location is ideal for either exploring this wonderful region of France or just to get away from it all. Our location in the Aveyron Valley offers opportunities for bike rides for all levels. Our warm log fires guarantee that our guests have relaxed evenings indoors during chilly months. Our guests can choose to eat here at La Maison de Papillon in our log fired dining-room or on our outdoor terrace. We use local produce and are happy to provide meals for specific dietary requirements, specialising in vegetarian cuisine. We also offer Reiki Energy Therapy as a means of further relaxation or for specific ailments or areas of change. Please see our page describing this further.

Our location in the small village of Mézerac 150m off the route N88 is perfectly situated for access in any direction to some of the most beautiful areas of Aveyron. From 5 minutes to an hour and a half’s ride you will experience some incredible roads, views and moments that where meant to be experienced by two wheels, be it on or off road. You will have access to the Gorge du Tarn,and the Millau viaduc to the east, The largest man made lakes in France to the south, The Aubrac and Lot valley to the north,the the historic villages of Conques and Najac to name but a few to the west. Ther are many national parks like the Cevennes and the Grande Causse that attract large numbers of motor bikes as well has cyclists. For a gentle cruise to a winding, climbing scenic route, Aveyron has it all.
We have 3 en-suit bedrooms with the capacity to take 7 people (soon be 10 people with the addition of a new bedroom) Are prices range from 65 - 105euros per night. This includes an full continental breakfast.
