Les Sarrazinies comprises an 18th century farmhouse with five stone built cottages created out of the original farm buildings. They sleep from one to six people and are all fully furnished and equipped.

Les Sarrazinies is situated in St. Felix de Reilhac 10 minutes north of Le Buque, in the heart of the Perigord noir an excellent position for exploring the region. The beautiful estate of Les Sarrazinies is set in 65 acres of woodlands and meadows, and guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility walking, exploring and watching the abundant wildlife. For the ornithologist, your binoculars are a must! Twenty seven different birds including kingfishers and buzzards were spotted by one lady. For the botanist, rare and wild flowers, including orchids, can still be found in early spring. There are many tracks and footpaths for serious walkers and cyclists. We have four mens and two ladies bikes, a football field with goalposts and a badminton net, table tennis, table football, boules and a dartboard (bring your own darts if you are a serious player), all to use at your leisure (no extra charge).

For those of you who have never visited the Dordogne, it will be an impressive and memorable experience of varying interests and ancient cultures, to sporting activities and architectural delights, all set in the most magnificent scenery of the Dordogne countryside-perfect for the artist and photographer.

The Perigord is considered by the French to be one the most important gastronomic regions of France. The vast selection of restaurants is a gourmet's delight! Five course meals including wine can cost as little as seven pounds-it is also possible to pay a great deal more! There are a tremendous variety of good regional wines at prices ranging from under a pound.

Just one mile away there is a 18 hole golf course. Les Sarrazinies also has a 2 hole practice range(bring your own clubs). For the fisherman, we have a lake stocked with tench, carp, perch and bream. The lake has been stocked over the past 10 years and the fish have bred sucessfully. All fish caught have been returned to the lake for the future of the sport. Please bring your own rods and barb free hooks. For the keener fisherman, there are a group of 5 lakes nearby that can be fished for a small charge.

At several points along the Vezere and Dordogne rivers, you can hire canoes for a few hours or a whole day-great fun. Check our website for up to date prices.
